Online Submission

The Awards for Excellence 2024 consist of online submissions through your account; materials must be submitted by 11:59pm, September 6, 2024.

If you foresee a conflict meeting this deadline please contact us at 604-669-9585 or events@udi.org. Once the deadline has passed no further submissions can be uploaded.

Where Do I Go To Submit Entries?

Click here to find the "create account" form. Fill in your name, contact information, and email and password, and you're set! When you sign up, you'll be logged in automatically and can start creating your entries right away.

When you first log into your account , you'll see a "Start a new entry" form. Simply choose which category you want to enter, give your entry a title, and click the "Start" button. In the form that loads, you will find all the information you need in order to submit an entry to your selected category. You don't have to complete your entry all in one sitting. Your entry saves while you work, so you can always come back to it later.

When you're finished, tap the "Add to cart" button at the bottom of the entry form. Your entries are considered "officially entered" once payment for your entry fees has been received.

Entry Completion

Create your account .

  • Select the category you wish to enter, and submit your information according to the specifications for the category.
  • All supporting materials listed are required. For questions or concerns, contact our office.
  • Include electronic copy of current corporate logo for production (PDF's).
  • Entries will be saved in your account, and can be edited up until the entry deadline (11:59pm, September 6, 2024). If you require assistance with submissions, please contact our office at 604-669-9585 or events@udi.org.

Accuracy of submitted materials is the responsibility of the applicant. Information given on the entry form will be used exactly as submitted in the award ceremony through production, presentation, and recognition in the media.

Entry Fee

  • Entry Fees are $475.00 (plus taxes) per entry and category submission. 
  • Entry fees can be processed by utilizing the pay by credit option.
  • Payment must be received by UDI before your submissions are considered eligible for competition.

Submission Deadline

Online submissions, including all supporting documentation and payment must be completed by 11:59pm, September 6, 2024.

After this deadline, the Jury reserves the right to extend the deadline for a SPECIFIC category and solicit additional entries in the event that there are less than three entries from a minimum of two companies in the category in question.

Can I Make Changes To My Entry? 

Yes, you can continue to edit your entries until the submission deadline. After the deadline, you will be able to view your entries, but the editing controls will be disabled.

Do I Need to Be a Member to Win?

Yes, the award goes to the UDI member who developed the project. You may submit an entry on a Member's behalf if you are not a UDI Member.

Promotion as an Award for Excellence Winner

UDI Member companies and their affiliates must indicate the Year and the Award Category Title in which they won or were a finalist when advertising/promoting/etc. There are to be NO changes made to the NAME of the Award category.

Do I Need Special Software To Make My Entries? 

This awards system is entirely web-based. You can create your entries on your phone, iPad, laptop, or any computer. All you need is a browser.

How Do You Protect My Information? 

Your account is protected by industry-leading 4096-bit encryption, and the entire system is backed up every day.

Final Notes

  • UDI reserves the right to disqualify incomplete submissions without notice or refund.
  • Acceptance of submissions received is at the discretion of UDI.
  • UDI reserves the right to realign categories due to volume of entries. If this process should take place, entrants will be notified.
  • If there are fewer than two entries in any category, UDI reserves the right to eliminate that category from the competition. Refunds will be given to those who have entered a cancelled category.
  • All entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
